What we call the justice system in Guyana ought go be renamed and renamed quickly
and the Guyana Police Farce should rip their motto down everywhere it is scrawled
Service & Protection for the criminally affiliated and cocaine noveau
don’t take my word for it, consult the evidence
the police in collusion with judges & magistrates have made this one of the most maddening places to attempt to seek justice
it seems as if every fucking body is either criminally negligent slash incompetent and/or for sale
on thursday october 29, 2015 we went over to Court 5 to check out the proceedings in the gun charge for the man dem seh murdered Courtney Crum-Ewing.
we were already informed that the prosecutor in the case called the accused family and requested $3 million dollars to make all the charges disappear.
let me repeat that, we were informed that the police prosecutor called the accused family requesting $3 million.
the last time i was at this court a police attempted to assault me and i knocked him to the ground in defence. more came to rough me up and they bundled me to the prisoners holding area and said i assaulted him.
they transferred me to brickdam in a van carefully watched by three gunmen and after an hour or two said i was free to go as if they have the power to grant me freedom
i was born free
court 5 is on the 2nd floor of the magistrate court, directly opposite st. andrews presbyterian church
as i entered i observe three putagee looking people on the bench on the balcony outside the door. two nen and one woman. on the bench also were two female police officers. one was corporal payne.
nothing was going on in the court room. just lots of back and forth and the police prosecutor one sergeant mansfield, and the court orderly going in and out the court to thr three people on the bench.
as faith would have it, the court orderly is the same chap who attempted to assault me last time i was here.
the magistrate came in and had a lot if back and forth with the attorneys and the prosecutor. Guyana courts have no audio equipment so you cant hear most of it. Guess you not supposed to.
From all the talk i gathered that the Crum-Ewing gun charge case was being cancelled till later in the afternoon or maybe another day, but come back at 2pm to find out. This is how Guyana injustice is dispensed.
It’s 1130am.
for some strange reason i cant recall court orderly name
i dont know if he remembers me but he came over
that’s your bag?
yes?
you can’t bring bags into the court room, you have to leave it outside on the bench (they make up rules as they go along. i was searched and allowed in court by another police with bag)
ok
and you cant be in court with your shirt out your pants
ok (something said, mark don’t argue with this fool today)
you have to go outside
ok
i got up to go outside then paused. something said pause
he rushed out again shouting someone’s name the magistrate was enquiring about
after the door closed i paused then went out
the three putagee people were standing facing the orderly and i about two arms length behind him now
there is no one else on the balcony
the old lady handed him a black plastic bag which he quickly stuffed in his pocket and turned around
he’s now facing me with portions of the black bag hanging out his pocket
he hurriedly pushed the rest into his pocket and rushed back into the court house
the three putagee people quickly go downstairs and huddle up by the gate next go the prison van
the lady is calling off the names of persons who still have money to bring. they have a heated conversation then move to the tree at ave of the republic & brickdam
it’s 1140
we walk to brickdam station & made contact with cid hq (crime chief office), eve leary, to hopefully find someone who can come search the court orderly and the prosecutor
we spoke to a senior detective who delegated the task to another detective to go down prevent him from leaving and “search his pockets and the office”
It’s 1150
The detective entered the court and spoke to the prosecutor cordially about something.
the court orderly walks out the building
the court orderly comes back with empty pocket
and everyone goes to lunch
it’s 1200
i guess we’ll never know the contents of the black plastic bag
at 2pm court goes into session again to announce that the matter will be dealt with on monday 2 october where the prosecutor will present his case
he’s fighting for Courtney Crum-Ewing
or so they’d like us to believe
when negroes arent being bought, they busy offering themselves up for sale
if this gun case is dismissed, it will bring an end to all criminal proceedings the Guyana Police has relating to the assassination of Courtney Crum-Ewing.
We’ll be there in front the magistrate court monday as these negroes do their lil sambo $huffle
our day will come
