Well this all came rushing back as i read todays news. They’ve now gone over a billion and guess what? School still not done. The ppp criminals supervising the job just asked for another 4.2 million.

The deceptive and illegal financial practices by Guyana govt ministers and functionaries are legendary. For that matter, the illegal practices of the minister of finance triggered the tabling of a no confidence motion. Facing a very possible humiliation at the polls and in the court, Donald Ramotar suspended parliament.
Instances of deception, illegal activities and abuse in Amerindian villages and the interior of Guyana remains a national disgrace. These run the gamut from outright trickery and deceit of Amerindians, sexual abuse, environmental destruction from mining and political intimidation.
The construction of the Kato Secondary School is the latest in a long line of big projects that full the pockets of certain persons while deceiving Amerindians that they are on the cutting edge of progress. Before getting into the Kato fiasco in the making, we can look at what happened in Sand Creek.
