same with yesu persaud. am not sure where it started since I wasn’t in Guyana for a goody while but I’ve heard him being touted as a maverick and visionary in many circles. quite odd is I’ve never seen or heard what exactly it is that yesu has done that elevated him into the stratosphere of mavickery and visionary heaven.
sure he owns a bank, he owns a rum company and sells a lot of shit but there’s nothing so unique or visionary with that
he simply had access to capital and the right people. if this qualifies as maverick and visionary, there are many people in Guyana right now with brilliant ideas and programs who simply lack capital to get them off the ground. as a result they are being denied their maverick/visionary sash.

yesu is in the news again because the guysuco commission of inquiry asked him for his errrr visions for the industry. i’ll quote him then break it down with my non-visionary ramble.
