I never believed bill cosby was innocent.
I remember saying that to a Jamaican lady a couple years back in Trinidad. for some strange reason Trinidadians were very caught up in the whole cosby mess

she laid waste to me for about half hour. at the and i just smiled and said, bill cosby will fall. back then only nine women had come forward. only 9! the count of women making rape & sexual assault accusations against cosby is now at 39! spanning five decades
I grew up watching cosby show in love with Vanessa. initially I thought this was a real family, decades before reality tee vee 🙂 but dat was then. his grand nice fatherly guy image clouds everything.
if a woman, man, girl or boy comes forward with rape allegations, I generally give them the benefit of the doubt. sure they got gold diggers and money chasers but unless solid evidence comes out pointing the other way I generally believe the accuser. except maybe johnny Welshman. me and him had along buse out one day protesting with Courtney Crum-Ewing. well is was more he busing me. but johnny’s tale is different. I do believe he was abused bysomeone. jus dat his tale was a bit too fanciful.
one angle many have been looking at this whole cosby thing through is the making, unmaking and breaking the successful blackman. yep, that happens all the time in America but this is not one such case. cosby is a serial rapist by his own admission in court.
he achieved riches and fame in segregated America then translated that success into even greater successes later on. cosby was such a star in the 60s, Richard Pryor wanted to be like him and even copied his style for a bit until he found himself.
shrinks, rape profilers and the like could speak/write volumes to this. from the images I’ve seen, cosby’s victims are almost exclusively white women.
they gonna get you bill. stop playing the fool and fess up.
what’s lost in all this is, a black man, a comedian at that, Hannibal buress was the one who started this train rolling against bill cosby and knocked him off his perch.
“He gets on TV, ‘Pull your pants up, black people. I was on TV in the ’80s! I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom!’” Buress said. “Yeah, but you rape women, Bill Cosby, so turn the crazy down a couple notches.”
