What on earth is going on here? What? Apart from anything else, what’s with all that garbage? This is very disturbing and, I think, a lesson for Jamaica…which is also heading down that road.
Here is what I said in my blog: “Chinese firms doing business in Jamaica are at it again (the Jamaican Government likes to call them “investors” but I might choose a different word). They are busy plundering the environment with little regard for those people who might be affected by it. They get away with this kind of behavior all too often in their own country but I believe Jamaicans cannot be shoved around so easily.” (I gave two examples – there are a number of others).
The way i see it the Chinese are the new ¨massa¨ rumor has it they are already fishing in Guyana waters but all this will continue under the PPP because as one Chinese man put it (the government done tek their money).
