Davi Yanomami, once named the “Dalai Lama of the Rainforest”, has been at the forefront of the struggle for the protection of Yanomami land for over 30 years. Davi will speak about the Yanomami’s unique way of life and their vision of the world, his concern for uncontacted tribes and his views on the Amazon rainforest, the destruction of nature, consumerism and much more. This special London event will also include a book launch and signing of ‘The Falling Sky’, a remarkable account of Davi’s life story.
