Client: UK Department for International Development
2013-2016
The Guyana Agricultural Diversification Program is a three-year project funded by the UK Department for International Development that will increase export competitiveness and employment in the fruits/vegetables and tilapia aquaculture sectors in Guyana. Farmers will be linked with anchor firms who will be strategic buyers. Production will be scaled up to meet the volume and traceability requirements of export buyers through the use of intensive technology, GlobalGAP certification, and the delivery of export services.
Farmers interested in the programme can contact CARANA Corporation [Guyana] at 223-0632.
