    Is it only a demonstration or an actual working shade house? We have these in Jamaica too, mostly growing tomatoes, peppers etc. I visited one not long ago and blogged about it. Very good photos!

      no the produce is utilised and sold it’s fully functional. this is the model for the program but they’ve built over 50 around the country so far which are owned and managed by individuals

        The second phase of an extensive local agricultural project aimed at popularising shade house farming technology in communities across the country is likely to kick off by March 2013, following the injection of a US$1.175 million grant from the Japanese Government, Head of the Partners of the Americas (Guyana) Project Myrtle Richards said.
