Book Launch and Reading : What a Friend we have in Jesus
All members of the public are invited to a book launch and reading from ‘What a friend we have in Jesus’ , by Mark Jacobs.
Mark Jacobs was born and raised in Guyana and went to live and work in Haiti. He wrote these 17 short stories which reflect on the common experiences of Guyana and Haiti while also giving insights into Haitian life and experiences. This book is unique in that it gives a Guyanese perspective about life in Haiti.
The launch will take place on Sunday 14th April, 2013 from 5:15pm at Night Cap Cafe (Russian Embassy Compound), Pere Street, Kitty, Georgetown
Copies of the book will be on sale at $2000.
